The village of Kłuda, located in the vicinity of the Vistula, has a name probably derived from the phrase "to Łódź", or "towards Łódź" - which may indicate the existence of a former river trail. Another version says that the original name "Kłoda" (from 1791) comes from the communities of logs and logs floated by the river - which also binds a village with a rafting and riverside tradition.
On the limit of the club there are two unique figures of Saint. John of Nepomuk - the patron of bridges, protecting against floods and drowning. The first of them is the stone figure from 1788 , set at the eastern end of the village, by the road leading to Solec on the Vistula. The second, wooden figure , is located on the western edge of the village - by the road - a pitch. According to the local legend, she was fished out of the Vistula during the cholera epidemic in 1708 , which gives it a unique, almost wonderful character.
both figures are not only a testimony of folk piety, but also an element of the cultural heritage of the region - they remind you of the strength of tradition, religiousness and relationships of residents with the great river.
