Regional Museum in Zwoleń
The Regional Museum in Zwoleń is a cultural institution founded in the 1970s on the initiative of local social activists and scientists from the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. Its purpose is to protect and commemorate the cultural heritage of Zwoleń and the surrounding area.
The museum collects and presents exhibits in the fields of archeology, history, ethnology and art related to the Zwoleń region. Particular attention is devoted to the figure of Jan Kochanowski, an outstanding Renaissance poet who was associated with these areas.
Among the permanent exhibitions include, among others ,:
"God of God and piety"
"Wincenty Flak (1870–1943) - non -obvious artist"
The museum also organizes temporary exhibitions, such as:
"Zwoleń and the surroundings on the old plans and maps" (2021–2022)
"Zwoleń and Ziemia Zwoleńska on a postcard" (2020)

"120 years of the Volunteer Fire Brigade in Zwoleń" (2019) (2019)
The institution conducts educational activities, offering workshops, museum lessons, lectures and lectures, addressed to the inhabitants of the region and all interested parties.
