The locations of Brzustów , in the shadow of the forests of the Kozienicka Forest, there is a guerrilla monument , which commemorates the tragic death of one of the heroes of the post -war independence underground - Benedykt Dróżdże , pseud. "Dzik" .

The monument wears an inscription reminiscent of the dramatic events of April 14, 1946 , when Benedykt Dróżdż - a soldier of the branch of the "Eagle" branch from the "Zagończyk" group - he was wounded with NKVD and UB forces . After capturing he was released , and his body was thrown into the burning house , which was the brutal finale of one of many dramas of the fight against Soviet enslavement.
