On the outskirts of the town of police , in the Zwoleń poviat, there is a war cemetery from World War I , which is one of the most important memorial places about the fighting fights in this area in this area in October 1914. Austro-Hungarian army and young Polish volunteers known as "Krakow children-Staszki" who died 23 and 24 October 1914 during fierce battles with the Russian army, conducted as part of the so-called Operation Dęblińska .
