Floor tiles - "Marywil"
The "Marywil" factory in Radom, operating since the end of the 19th century, was one of the most important ceramic plants in the region, specializing in the production of chamotte and stoneware products. The floor tiles produced here , which combined utility values with exceptional aesthetics, gained a special reputation. They were characterized by high durability, resistance to abrasion and the richness of patterns, from geometric to floral ornaments, often inspired by secession and modernism.
The tiles of "Marywil" went not only to public buildings and tenement houses in Radom, but were also exported outside the region. Nowadays, they are a valued testimony to the industrial heritage of the city - they can be found in many historical interiors, where they still decorate the floors as a permanent element of local cultural identity.
