Museum Kazimierz Pułaski in Warka is a historical and biographical institution dedicated to the memory of Kazimierz Pułaski, a hero of struggle for the independence of Poland and the United States. The museum is located in the historic palace in Winiarach, surrounded by a picturesque landscape park with an area of 15 hectares.
The palace in Winiary was built around 1689 by Stanisław Antoni Szczuka, and in the 18th century he belonged to the Pulaski family, including Józef Pułaski, Father Kazimierz. In 1967, after a general renovation, a museum dedicated to Kazimierz Pułaski was opened in the palace.
The museum presents two main permanent exhibitions: "Kazimierz Pułaski and great Poles in the USA" and "Warka - a city affected by history". The exhibitions include souvenirs related to Pułaski, other outstanding Poles of emigrants, as well as the history of the Warecki region. The collection includes Furniture, works of art, maps, old prints and weapons from the era.
Surrounded by the museum there is a landscape park, founded in the second half of the 18th century, transformed in the 19th and 20th centuries. This park, located on the embankment on Pilica, is one of the most charming places in Warka, offering space for walks and rest.
