Department of Care of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The Department of Care of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Radom is the most important temple of the Diocese of Radom and also a pearl of neo -Gothic sacred architecture in the region. Its construction began in 1899 according to the design of Józef Pius Dziekoński, and the consecration took place in 1911. The cathedral impresses with soaring 72 meters high towers, a richly decorated facade and elaborate architectural details. The interior of the church is characterized by stained glass, neo -Gothic decor and numerous elements of religious symbolism. Since 1992, he has been the diocesan cathedral, being a spiritual and cultural center of Radom, as well as a place of important religious and patriotic ceremonies.
