Malwa telephone

The Malwa telephone camera is one of the models of landline phones produced by telephone factories in Radom, known from the production of various types of telecommunications equipment in Poland.

The characteristics of the Malwa telephone apparatus:

Construction and appearance:

with a classic construction, made of plastic, typical for the 1970s and 1980s. The phone had a simple, functional housing, which was available in several colors, most often in shades of beige, brown or gray.
  • A characteristic element was the rotary number disc, which at that time was standard in landline phones. The numbers on the shield were clearly visible, which made it easier to choose the number.

    • The Malwa camera was an analog device, operating in the central and bateing system (CB), which meant that the power supply came directly from the telephone line.
    • Coal and a handset, which was typical for phones of this period. The quality of conversations was good, which made it a reliable device for everyday use.

    Application:

    • The Malwa camera was widely used both in private homes and in offices and public institutions. His simple operation and reliability meant that he was very popular throughout Poland.
    • It was one of the basic models of landline phones available in the country, which is why it could be found in many Polish homes.
