Occasional table
Occasional table
produced in Radom by the metal plants "Predom -Radom" metal table was an integral part of the equipment of apartments in the second half of the twentieth century, inscribed in the then current of a simple, functional industrial design. Introduced to the market in the 1960s, it quickly gained recognition thanks to its practicality, endurance and timeless form. A solid, metal design and a characteristic, enamel finish made the table perfectly served in both kitchens, as well as workshops or studios - in cities and in the villages. The inhabitants of Radom is a symbol of the era in which the "Radom" meant things done properly, with a view to daily use for many years.
Today this table, like other furniture and devices from the PRL period, gains a new life-restored and adapted to contemporary interiors, returns as a sentimental accent and object of desire for collectors. It is not only a utility furniture, but also a history carrier - a reminder of times when simplicity and functionality went hand in hand with reliability, and Radom was an important point on the industrial map of Poland.
