Replicas of the 17th century cannons
replicas of 17th-century cannons on the square of the Vilnius-Radom Union is the result of an initiative commemorating the military traditions of Radom and its former importance as a royal city. The ceremonial unveiling of two faithfully reproduced cannons took place on May 27, 2017, and the day later - on May 28 - the Historical Picnic accompanying this event took place, during which the cannons gave the spectacular salvo. They are not only an element of small historical architecture, but also a tourist and educational attraction, especially for the youngest residents and visiting the city of guests. Solidly made, based on patterns from the 17th century, reflect the atmosphere of the former Radom, and their presence reminds us of the rich military past of the city.
