Viewing bridge

The viewing bridge in Radom is one of the key walking points along the Mleczna River, which is an extension of newly revitalized boulevards. The wooden structure rises on the stagnant bay and goes beyond the riverbed, ensuring an unusual perspective on the effects of renaturisation. Work as part of the "Life" project covered a section of about 400 meters around the bridge - from 250 meters to south to 150 meters north - where the natural, meandering nature of the Mleczne River was restored.

As a result of these activities, bays, Bystrz, Płosa and delicate slopes were shaped, which increases the retention of the valley, affecting the flood protection and biodiversity. The banks have been strengthened using environmentally friendly methods, and the whole harmoniously fits into the park landscape. From the bridge there is a view of the natural oxbow lakes, rebuilt river habitats and lush green of the cultural park, creating a space for rest, nature observation and reflection on changes taking place in the urban ecosystem. city. For residents and visitors, it is a unique place combining nature education, relaxation and contact with the heritage of the Milky Valley.
