Museum of the History of Radom
Museum of the History of Radom is a modern museum facility, which is a branch of the Museum Jacek Malczewski, located in the historic tenements of Gąski and Esterka at the 4/5 Market Square in Radom. Open in August 2022, the museum presents over a thousand years of history of the city from the 9th century to the end of World War II.
The exhibition is located on three floors and combines traditional artifacts with modern technologies such as holograms, multimedia projections or VR positions. Visitors can see, among others Mockup of the stronghold on Piotrka under a glass floor, reproduced by a medieval merchant stall, historian's office Walery Przyborowski and a replica of the pharmacy from 1824.
The museum also offers a rich educational program, including museum lessons for primary and secondary school students, workshops and cultural events.
