St. John of Nepomuk and Saint. Ignacy Loyola in Przysucha
Church Saint. John of Nepomuk in Przysucha is a classicist temple, erected in the years 1780–1786 with the of the heavy stone and brick , on limestone mortar , which gives it durability and timeless appearance. The temple was consecrated in 1786 by bishop Jan Mikołaj Dębowski , Sufragan Gniezno, dedicated to Saint. John of Nepomuk and Saint. Ignacy Loyola .
The establishment of the church is associated with the erection of the parish in Przysucha on October 17, 1764 , which was separated from the parish in Skrzyńsk. The construction of the temple was a testimony to the growing importance of Przysucha as a center of the local religious and social community. The classicist body of the church with a characteristic architectural system and interior details gives the place a unique character.
to this day the church of St. John of Nepomuk plays the role of a spiritual city center, being also a monument with a high historical and cultural value.
