Home weight WD-2 is a unique example of the utility design of the Polish People's Republic, combining functionality with folk aesthetics. Although its maximum lifting capacity was 2 kg, due to the lack of legalization, it could not be used for trade settlements. What distinguishes the weight of WD-2 is the intricately made scarf from the original Włocławek faience-known for high quality and unique decoration. Each copy was decorated manually, which gives it an individual character, and painting motifs referred to traditional folk patterns.
The weight of WD-2 was available in two color versions: classic brown and characteristic blue. Today, it is not only an interesting relic of the past era, but also a valued collector's object, which is a testimony of Polish craftsmanship and design of the 70s and 80s
