Pionki railway station

The train station in Pionki was erected in 1925 and represents the manor style characteristic of the interwar period , referring to the tradition of Polish noble architecture. The building with classic proportions, with a hip roof and decorative details, has not only a communication function, but also is an important element of the city's architectural heritage .

The station is located on the railway line Radom -Dęblin , which today is an important regional and transit connection. In the past, the station was called Zagożdżon , which was related to the former name of the place. The change to pawns took place in the years 1932–1938 , when this city was developing dynamically, mainly due to the dust and crushing materials operating in the region. The history of industry, migration and local identity is associated. Today, despite the passage of years, he retains his historical character and still serves residents and travelers.
